What's the difference between Mini Golf and Crazy Golf

In reality, there is no difference between Mini Golf and Crazy Golf. As a general rule of thumb Crazy golf tends to be used when obstacles and course layouts are big, bold and have a wacky theme, think Pirate theme or Land of the Dinosaurs. Mini Golf tends to be used for courses and layouts that are a little less themed, more natural obstacles but tbh, there is no hard and fast rule. People use both Mini Golf and Crazy Golf to describe the same thing.
Where are you based and what areas do you cover?

We are based in Ongar, Essex, which is roughly in south/mid Essex, its outside the M25 between Epping and Chelmsford. We can deliver within about a 2 hour drive from here. Which covers most of the South-East and East of England, also parts of the South Coast and into the Midlands beyond Milton Keynes and most of London. There are no transport charges up to 25 miles from our HQ in Ongar, after that, there is a small extra cost. This is worked out by Google Maps
Can I request unique features, like our name on the top of the wedding cake obstacle for example?

Yes of course, we can accommodate many special requests, please ask
Do you have Public Liability Insurance

Yes, we have a £5,000,000.00 PLI in place. The document can be seen by clicking a link near the foot of the Golf Package Page
What happens if the course gets damaged whilst on hire?

Normal wear and tear is an acceptable part of use and our hire, however when you hire from us, you are agreeing to our terms and conditions too which states that compensation maybe sought for accidental, malicious or deliberate damage to our equipment, vehicle and/or personal belongings or theft of any of the equipment.
Is your course playable in wet weather?

Great question. We have designed and built the course for the Great British outdoors, so that means that its weather proof. When building the course we used treated sustainable timber, then we added a thick poly liner under the playing surface and that's on top of primer, undercoat and several layers of exterior wood paint. Nothings getting through that.
Can I hire 6 holes instead of 9 holes?

Yes we do hire courses with only 6 holes, this can be a handy option if space is tight at the venue. There is no reduction in the package price however.

Where can you setup a course?

We can set up both indoors or outdoors. An area of around 8 x 12 metres is required and easy access for us to be able to set up the course quickly. It is a large, heavy course and good access is a needed. The ground must be reasonably flat too, as although we carry wedges to place under the golf holes to level them up, there is a limit to this! We cannot level up extremely sloping sites. Please make sure the site is suitable before booking as we cannot reimburse if the ground is deemed to be unsuitable at the point of set up
What would you say is the minimum age that players can play?

That depends on the child. We carry very short putters, so we can cater for 4 -5 year olds but the little person needs to be in control of the golf club safely and under adult supervision at all time. Children need space awareness more than anything.
Do you need a deposit to secure the booking?

Yes, we require a deposit of £125 at the time of booking and the balance within 45 days of the hire date. If you are booking within 45 days of the event, then full payment is required when booking.
What's the difference with "Signature" holes verses "Classic" holes?

Our mobile miniature golf course, has a selection of classic holes and signature holes. Classic holes typically consist of simple, traditional obstacles and designs that are commonly found on many mini golf courses. These might include basic ramps, tunnels, slopes or angled shots that provide a straightforward challenge for players, such as the Bridge over the Water hole or the Big Bump Hole. In contrast, signature holes have unique, standout features that are designed to offer a more memorable experience. These holes often have creative, elaborate themes or luxury obstacles that reflect a particular event or setting, such as a our Wedding Cake hole or our Grand Prix race tyre hole, which either adds a special touch and/or a distinctive challenge to the course over and above the normal features. The current list of signature holes are as follows. Wedding Cake, Church, Windmill, Beehive, Flower Hoops, Bowling Pins, GP Race Car Tyre Lighthouses, The Palms These are subject to change.
We need hire for a corporate event, can you deliver and run the event?
