A Wish List of Wonderfully Weird Things We’d Love to See on a Mini Golf Course

At Putt Putt Golf, we’ve seen our fair share of madness on the greens — runaway bouquets, rogue swans, CEOs treating hole five like the Masters… the usual. But what about the chaos we haven’t seen yet? Here’s our official wish list of brilliantly bizarre things we’d love to witness on one of our mobile mini golf courses. If even one of these happens this season, we’ll consider it a victory.
1. A Full-Blown Conga Line Across the Course We’ve had excited crowds before, but imagine a conga line weaving through the holes, putters in hand, not missing a beat. Ideally they’d pause at each obstacle for a celebratory wiggle.
2. A Dog Sinking a Putt We’ve had dogs join weddings and corporate events, but none have successfully knocked a golf ball into a hole… yet. Whether it’s a miniature schnauzer knocking the ball with its nose or a Labrador giving it a strategic paw tap, we’re ready.
3. A Flash Mob on Hole Nine Picture this: a calm, sunny afternoon, someone lines up their putt… and suddenly the entire wedding party breaks into perfectly choreographed dance. Bonus points if it’s themed to the course — windmill dancers, anyone?
4. A “Royal Visit” From a Lookalike We haven’t had King Charles, but we’d settle for a convincing lookalike arriving with a putter and proclaiming, “One shall take the honour on the first tee!” Perfect photo op. Viral guaranteed.
5. A Mini Golf Proposal With Full Pyrotechnics We’ve had proposals (very sweet ones), but we’ve yet to see a groom drop to one knee as confetti cannons erupt and the ball rolls gently into the hole like it’s destiny. We’re ready when you are, romantics.
6. A Guest Attempting a Trick Shot and Accidentally Inventing a New Sport Something involving a putter flip, a behind-the-back swing, or spinning the ball like a bowling pro. Ideally ending in a successful putt and rapturous applause.
7. A Mascot vs Best Man Putt-Off Think giant costume — dinosaur, unicorn, oversized fruit, whatever chaos the event provides — taking on a best man who refuses to lose. We want drama. Preferably slow-motion.
8. A Bride Arriving to Her Round in a Golf Buggy A stylish entrance, a veil flowing in the wind, and the groom clinging on for dear life. Iconic.
9. The Entire Course Turning Into an Impromptu Olympics Fastest putt. Longest stance. Most dramatic miss. Teams competing for glory with homemade medals. We support it.
If any of these wonderfully weird moments happen this year, PuttPuttGolf will be ready — cameras out, leader-board updated, and smiles all round.
